We serve the community locally around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with our service activities. With our international membership contribution, we also help the global community. As our roots are from Nepal when there are natural disasters or needs, we also help as much as possible.
Aside from Dallas Everest Lions Club’s own service focus, we also contribute to the five global causes of Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). These are diabetes, environment, hunger, vision, and childhood cancer.
Diabetes
We serve to reduce the prevalence of diabetes and improve the quality of life for those diagnosed with it.
Vision
We serve to prevent avoidable blindness and improve the quality of life for people who are blind and visually impaired.
Hunger
We serve to ensure all members of the community have access to nutritious foods.
Environment
We serve to sustainably protect and restore our environment and improve the well-being of all communities.
Childhood Cancer
We provide support for the needs of children and families affected by childhood cancer through impactful service activities.
